The Five Liars

The Five Liars is a murder mystery novel with touches of psychological thrilling moments surrounding a violent murder outside of a bar with an unreliable, witness-turned-accomplice main character set in Miami, Florida. Six months after witnessing her ex-boyfriend brutally murder a man outside of a bar in Miami, Florida, Olivia Jones is living a comfortable and quiet post-college life in her aunt's home in Richmond, Virginia. The murder, still unsolved by authorities, caused Olivia to flee and she is insistent on staying silent with her secret as the only witness to the crime. When she returns home from work one day, she finds an old friend, Keira Adler, at her doorstep, begging for her return to Miami. Keira explains to Olivia her plan to pin the unsolved murder on Chase Dean, another former friend of theirs who revealed dark and worse secrets that will change the trajectory of their lives. Five friends, Olivia, Keira, Kenna, Dallas and Chase were once a close knit group at the University of Miami until an increasingly erratic behavior of one of them led to a murder forcing unexpected, dark secrets to unravel and taking Olivia down a more horrifying journey than she ever imagined. When she is forced back to Miami, she is the pawn of a chess game she didn’t even realize she started. Keira, Kenna and Dallas plan to pin his murder on Chase- and Olivia is the key to it.
