About Me

I live in Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia with my boyfriend, C.J. and our dog, Missy and I graduated from Georgia Southern University. I have been writing since I was ten years old and it is something I have found a home in. My debut novel is The Paths of Our Invisible Strings and I am currently working on publishing my second novel while trickling in some writing for a third novel. The novels I am writing now are not connected to my debut, as my debut was something personal to me and I wanted to use it as a platform to continue my brand and who I want to be as a writer. I think of it as a starting mark, something I can bounce off of and go back to reflect on.

Writing has always been a deep passion of mine, serving as an outlet for anger, sadness, joy, love, and despair. My debut novel, The Paths of Our Invisible Strings, represents what I consider to be both a personal experiment and a significant creative milestone at a young age. It was a project driven by trial and error, a deeply personal endeavor, through which I insisted to leave behind aspects of the person I was outgrowing. This novel became a crucial element and began my creative spark in my writing career, and while I could elaborate on how POIS has profoundly shaped both my life and my writing, its greatest impact has been it’s contribution to my personal growth.

I believe we have the capacity to change into the people we aspire to be or want to be, although this change has its limits. For me, writing has been the primary catalyst for this positive change from adolescent to adulthood. Throughout the writing and editing of my debut, I devoted myself into the emotions and experiences I shared with my friends during our adolescence, allowing these feelings to shape the narrative and create Madelyn’s story.

With my feet on the ground, head in the clouds and still looking ahead, my goal is to create literary works that captivate audiences, blending the entertainment of reading and with depth and immersive storytelling. I want my stories to keep readers on the edge of their seats, with unexpected twists and moments that move them to turn the page. The world of writing is where I truly feel at home and despite the ups and downs it has brought me, the comfort and fulfillment it provides are unparalleled to any other passion.
